Bike Mechanic - Full Time
We have been operating and selling the Chill Pass for 27 winter seasons and running a successful bike business for 10 years. More recently, we have built up a loyal customer base offering bike services and sales, including the sale of adventure and urban bikes, parts and accessories.
We are passionate about the outdoors, and getting people on bikes. We are committed to utilising the power of digital technology to run the business and enhance Chill’s customer experience. We have a strong team culture and celebrate both team efforts and individual successes.
We are looking for someone with passion for the outdoors and a desire to share this with others. Working from our premises in Christchurch you’ll be part of a team at the front of Chill’s customer experience both online and in person. We’re looking for a full time time bike mechanic with solid industry experience and great attention to detail as well as good interpersonal skills.
Key tasks include assembling new bikes, maintaining our hire fleet - both pedal and electric - and carrying out services on customers’ bikes. You’ll need to maintain a clean and tidy work space, and be in contact with the Chill crew and customers.
Christchurch is an amazing City and Urban Setting to live and work in. It is an affordable city to live in, offering great cycle trails for urban commuting and outdoor cycle adventures. The City has an international airport, and a gateway to the South island and Southern Alps.
